Parents as Partners Handbook
This handbook is just that handy. Parents can be active in their child's education and make sure that they are getting every bit of help that they need or deserve. There are many subcategories in this handbook, but there are 3 that stand out to me.
- Laws that impact the Education
- Developing the IEP (Individualized Education Plan or Program)
- Educational Goal Setting
Having a parent being able to know what each of these categories means will help in the process of developing an Individualized Education Plan or Program for their child's needs. Knowing the laws that will impact the process of education, developing the proper Individualized Education Plan or Program for the student, and also making sure to set Education Goals. Having these 3 components will help in process of Education.
